Tarragon sat on the bottom step of the Lobby stairway, a small pile of stones next to him. Being sometime during the day, the doors were open to allow access to the outside. Blaine was taking full advantage of this - seeing if he could reach the lobby doorway from where he sat.

The first few failed attemptes littered the floor, but he had gauged the distance quite well now, and he couldnt help but smile a little as he heard each shot bounce down the stone steps outside.

He tossed the last stone up into the air, catching it deftly and narrowing his eyes at the doorway. Last one. He let out a short laugh, standing up and huzzing it through the open door. Instead of the pleasing clink that he had come to expect of his shots - there was soft thump followed by an "ouch!". Tarragon's skin coloured slightly, and he stood unsure in the light, wondering who it was he had hit. Now he faced the decision of running or waiting. the choice was made for him, as the victim of the last stone entered through the doorway, stone in hand.

"Ouch," Klera said when she was hit with a rock. It bounced to the ground at her feet, and she bent to pick it up. Walking into the Lobby where the stone had come from, she saw a boy about her age looking a bit flushed, probably from seeing her after he had accidentally hit her.

Hm, he reminds me of... well, me. When I lived with the elves at least. That was always fun to aim at things and secretly aim at the people instead. Oh, but did they get mad with me, even when I insisted that it was part of my training at the compound. Training... so long ago, and yet so clear in my mind. Best not to tell this boy about it.

Klera laughed, the sound echoing around the empty hall. "Good aim," she said throwing the stone back over to him. Klera walked over to him, making sure the phone in her pocket couldn't be activated. Since she had gotten it, she hadn't gone anywhere without it. It wasn't really a phone, but when you pressed one of the buttons you got a blade, with the phone as the handle. "I'm Klera by the way." she introduced.

Tarragon was suprised to say the least when the girl smiled, throwing the stone back. He deftly caught it, the expression of suprise still clear on his features. After what seemed an age, he glanced down at the stone he now held - and decided this one was for keeps. Just because.

He pocketed it and looked up with a smile, nodding in greeting. The girl, though having been hit by his stone was still in good spirits and seemed to be amused by the whole situation. Well, at least she had a sense of humour, Tarragon thought wryly. She looked a little vague, and he wondered what she could be thinking about to get such a far away expression on her face. However - it was not his business. Yet.

Tarragon allowed himself a broad grin.

"I guess....and for a moving target."

He joked lightly, lifting his shoulders in a slight shrug.

"Tarragon...or Tug as my friends call me. Nice to meet you. Sorry....about that."

He introduced himself and apologised simultaneously, quickly running his gaze over her and wondering where he had hit her.

Klera laughed again at the look on the boy's face. "Don't seem so surprised." she told him. "I've gotten hit plenty of times, worse than this, for a little stone to really affect me. Just wasn't expecting a rock to hit me in the head."

She ran a hand over the back of her head to smooth out her hair. She didn't normally care about how she looked, but she was in the company of someone new and she didn't want to make a bad first impression. Klera was one of the few Gryffindors who was friendly to everyone, even the Slytherins, which was clearly this boy's house.

Klera shrugged off the apology. "Never apologize to me," she said. "It isn't fitting to say your sorry to someone who has done things worse then you could imagine." At that, she remembered the girl she had lived with for the past few years. Rescued from a theme park, she had saved her life. And killed others in the process, twelve others to be exact.

Tarragon shrugged, his eyes drifting to her head - where she mentioned he had hit her. Well, he really had hit the bullseye then, hadnt he.

He didnt allow his mind to rest on her comment about being hit plenty of times, it brought up nasty images of uncaring parents into his brain - and he didnt like to think that others were less well off than he. Not a very slytherin thought, but then perhaps there was some selfishness in that idea.

She came across as a Gryffindor on further iinsepction, but a slight doubt flared in his mind at her next comment. Worse things than you could imagine. Tarragon didnt think so - he had a fairly active imagination and was forver using it. He didnt try to imagine what she might have done, but wrinkled his nose slightly.

Her attitude was very slytherin, and he found himself bridling slightly. A gryffindor acting as a slytherin? He fought to cool his house pride and smiled placidly.

"I very much doubt anything you've done could surpass my imagination."

He said confidently. His sister's family history would be enough to curl some hair - so he doubted anything could go much beyond that. Besides, movies these days left nothing to the imagination.

Klera raised an eyebrow at Blaine. Ah, so he doubts what I have seen; what I have done with my bare hands. We shall see how far his imagination takes him. She wasn't normally one to go up for a challenge when she first met someone, but this boy seemed different from other people she had met. A word couldn't be placed for the feeling he gave her. Almost a feeling of dread, but not quite.

"I highly doubt your imagination could go beyond what I have experienced." she replied, her tone a bit harsher than before. "But if you would like to test it, I wouldn't mind. I'm always up for a little challenge."

For a second, her eyes flashed red before turning back to green. Though she had parted from her old wolf half, the old traits still lingered somewhat. She wasn't fully parted from her wolf, though. A little time just had to be spent apart so Klera could organize things with her life. So she could go after Anna, her mother, and kill her the way she had her father.

Tarragon arched an eyebrow, his mouth twitching in humor. He could see the competiton rising between them, and rather than shrug it off like he usually would - he welcomed it whole-heartedly. He was intrigued to see what this girl could possibly come up with. I mean, come on, she was a Gryffindor. Not exactly well known for their terror-tactics, but then, Tarragon was open to new experiences.

"Test it? I'm not sure how I could....like I said, Imagination is a powerful thing, and easily used on the spot. How am I to know what you say is true?"

He baited her lightly, knowing from the harsher tone in her voice that she was beginning to feel a little riled. He shrugged, his expression innocent. Ah me, what comes of a little stone throwing.

"How would you suggest I test you?"

He prodded, raising his eyebrows again in what he knew was highly dubious motion. But all to push her a little further, see what she would come up with.

[[Sorry if i muffed our post up by changing his name, but I just couldnt work with Blaine any longer. Museless and all that....]]
